III. Steps for replacing ceramic press filter element 1300R005BN4HC:

1. Turn off the equipment and reduce the pressure.

2. Unscrew the filter housing (2) and collect the outflowing hydraulic oil into a container (the collected hydraulic oil must not be poured back into the oil tank).

3. Remove the filter element (3) and check for visible impurities on the surface of the filter element (visible particles may be a warning sign of impending component failure in the equipment).

4. Check the cap (1) and the bypass valve for damage. Damaged parts must be replaced.

5. Check the O-ring seal (5) and support ring (6) of the filter cap (1) for damage. Replace if necessary.

6. Gently apply clean lubricating oil to the filter element O-ring seal (4), and push the filter element (3) into the nozzle of the filter cap (1) with the open edge.

7. Similarly, gently apply clean lubricating oil to the filter housing (2), and screw in the filter cap (1) until it is blocked.

8. Pressurize the hydraulic system and check for oil leaks in the filter.
